1 day @ £38,000 FTE pro rata (£7,600 actual)

We’re looking for someone practical and organised to support our communications and digital work at Compost London CIC.

This is a part-time role (1 day per week) focused on keeping our websites up to date, growing our social media, and supporting our newsletters. It also includes helping us clearly communicate our work and impact to funders, the council and partners.

As many of you know, Compost London supports voluntary, community and faith organisations across Newham and beyond through capacity building, networks and research programmes, including the Newham Community Research Network, ESOL Exchange and the Research Engagement Network (REN).

We’re looking for someone who can:

  • Maintain and update websites (Webflow and WordPress)
  • Support social media (LinkedIn and Instagram)
  • Help produce clear, straightforward newsletters
  • Turn day-to-day delivery into simple updates, stories and case studies
  • Keep things organised and consistent

This is a good role for someone who is hands on and who can dive-in and hit the ground running .

Key details:

  • 1 day per week (7 hours)
  • £38,000 FTE pro rata (£7,600 actual)
  • Fixed-term for 12 months
  • Hybrid working (some presence in Newham/East London)
